The Weißenfels wastewater treatment plant has existed for more than 80 years in the immediate vicinity of the Saale river. To protect the water and due to technological progress, the once mechanical plant was gradually expanded from 1997 to 2001 and 2014 to 2015 into a fully biological wastewater treatment plant with a wastewater capacity of 125,000 PE.
As part of the modernization, Abwasserbeseitigung Weißenfels AöR decided to digitize its plant knowledge and commissioned BNA to introduce the anexio® software solution.
With the replacement of the existing maintenance manager, the complete maintenance history was successfully transferred to the new system. A direct link between anexio® and the TIBS process data archiving system makes it possible to transfer the water and electricity meter readings recorded on mobile devices to the central database easily and paperlessly. All necessary documents, checklists, image and audio files can now be retrieved by the employees of the wastewater treatment plant both online and offline with the help of anexio®. The inspection and maintenance measures are thus reduced in time and effort and securely documented.
